Fun day to launch Cambridgeshire’s newest community owned pub

Megan and Peter Friskey, new landlords of community-owned The Three Tuns in Guilden Morden, are excited to announce the official opening of the pub, patio and stunning half-acre garden. The 17th Century, Grade II listed country pub will open its doors on Saturday 3rd August, from noon to 11p.m.

The pub will be officially opened and the ribbon cut at 3pm by MP Heidi Allen, Member of Parliament for South Cambridgeshire and Cllr Sebastian Kindersley, Cambridgeshire County Councillor. Both Heidi and Sebastian supported the campaign to save The Three Tuns for many years.

Fun for all the family, there will be a hog roast, BBQ and outside bar, along with canapés and fizz to celebrate the official opening of this important community asset. There will also be outside live music and games, including inflatable table football, sumo suits, skittle alley, giant outdoor games and crazy golf.

The Three Tuns is set in the picturesque South Cambridgeshire village of Guilden Morden. Do come along and enjoy the activities, food and drink on Saturday 3rd August. See all the hard work that has been put in by the community, shareholders and Megan and Peter to turn this pub back into a much loved watering hole at the heart of the village.
