Outward Journey (from Peterborough): 07:59 arrives 09:25

The proposed itinerary is as follows:

• 9.30 am: The Punchbowl which is a Wetherspoons (5-9 Blossom Street, York, YO24 1AU) for those arriving early. An alternative to this for breakfast is Brew & Brownie (5 Museum Street, YO1 7DT).

• 10.30 am: York Tap which is in the Station to meet people coming in off later trains.

The plan is then to move on to the following pubs – some of which are very close together so people can choose whether to do cheeky halves in each/some or just stay in one. Times are approximate as I am sure as the day goes on we may drift from these and add in/miss some out!!

• 11.15 am: The Maltings (Tanners Moat, YO1 6HU) – a 5 minute walk from the Tap.

• 11.45 am: There are 4 pubs which are a 7 minute walk away. These are The Lamb & Lion (2-4 High Petergate, YO1 7EH), The Three Legged Mare (15 High Petergate, YO1 7EN), Guy Fawkes Inn (25 High Petergate, YO1 7EN) and The House of Trembling Madness (48 Stonegate YO1 8AS).

• 1.15 pm: There are 3 pubs here, they are Pivni York (6 Patrick Pool, YO1 8BB), Last Drop (27 Colliergate YO1 8BN) & Duke of York (Kings Square YO1 8BH) – a 3 minute walk from the last pubs.

• 2.30 pm: Just a 3 minute walk from Pivni there are two pubs, Sutlers Bar (54-56 Fossgate (YO1 9TF) and The Blue Bell (53 Fossgate YO1 9FT).

• 3.30 pm: Blue Boar (5 Castlegate YO1 9RN) – a 6 minute walk from the last stop.

• 4.00 pm: Golden Ball (2 Cromwell Road YO1 6DU) – a 7 minute walk from the Blue Boar.

• 4.30 pm: The Ackhorne (9 St. Martin’s Lane YO1 6LR) – just a 3 minute walk.

• 5.15 pm: Brigantes (114 Micklegate YO1 6JX) – another 3 minute walk.
