Cask Beer List - St Ives 2017

The Best Craft Beers are Served from the Cask!

For St Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' 2017, we plan to serve over 70 cask conditioned beers over the course of the festival, sourced from both well-established independent breweries and the newer 'craft' micro-breweries. As usual, a range of great beers from East Anglia and the East Midlands will be on offer, including more than 20 'LocAles' (which are brewed within around 30 miles of the festival). We also have a wide range of cask beers from across the UK. This includes Church End Goats Milk; the Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2017!

Beers marked Sputnik! have been selected to tie in with our festival theme as shown on the logo; some of the links may be a little tenuous!

Sponsor a Cask! We are inviting companies, pubs and individuals to sponsor a cask of beer (or a tub/box of cider). The cost of this is £30 per cask and you will receive 2 free entry tickets and £10 worth of beer tokens. If you are interested, you can select which beer/cider you would like to sponsor - this will be on a first come first served basis. Names of companies, pubs or individuals will then be displayed on the product they are sponsoring. You are welcome to bring along advertising flyers etc. to put on the tables. Please contact ku.gro.armac.stnuh@lavitsef if you would like to sponsor a cask or if you have any questions

Please scroll down to see the cask conditioned beers that we plan to offer during the course of the festival. There will be some additions to this and it is possible there will be a few changes in the run up to the festival. Check back here regularly for the latest updates!

Notes: We hope to be able to serve all of these beers during the course of the festival, but circumstances beyond our control mean the list is subject to change. Not all beers will be available at all times during the festival.

Allergen Information: These beers all contain gluten from barley, with the exception of Nene Valley beers (which are all gluten free). Many beers also contain gluten from wheat. For more information on allergens during the festival, please ask the Bar Managers or Festival Organiser.

Most cask beers are clarified by addition of isinglass finings. Although virtually no isinglass remains in the beer when poured, vegetarians may consider that fined beers are unsuitable for their diet (although they are of course acceptable for pescetarians). Isinglass was not added to beers that are marked unfined and these are therefore suitable for vegetarians. Unfined beers are often naturally hazy.
