See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Large community pub run by a local family on the edge of St Ives town built in 1962 by Steward & Patteson. The name is a reference to a popular riddle. There is a large main bar, a separate area which has a pool table and dart board. There is also a large rear bar that can be hired for private functions. In addition to two regular real ales there is often a third ale available. Homemade food is served daily with a new menu recently introduced which features classic pub food. On Friday and Saturday evenings there is a food truck. Bookings are recommended for Sunday lunch. The pub has a rear beer garden with a large covered area, and there is a paved patio with tables at the front of the pub.
