Large community pub run by a local family on the edge of St Ives town built in 1962 by Steward & Patteson. The name is a reference to a popular riddle. There is a large main bar, a separate area which has a pool table and dart board. There is also a large rear bar that can be hired for private functions. In addition to the two regular cask ales there is occasionally a third ale available. Many live sporting events are shown when the pub can be busy. Homemade food is served daily. On Thursday there is a curry or pizza evening, and Friday and Saturday evenings a food truck visits from 5pm. On Saturday morning there is an all you can eat breakfast and on Sunday there is a carvery for which bookings are recommended. The pub has a rear beer garden with a large covered area, and there is a paved patio with tables at the front of the pub.
