Greene King has announced the Old Sun, in Eaton Socon, is due to undergo an "extensive refurbishment". Part of the redevelopment will include new external decoration, signage and a "stunning garden area" complete with a patio, TV, lighting, furniture and planting. The pub will also receive a makeover inside focusing on "local points of interest", in addition to an improved bar service area, new furniture and revamped toilet facilities. As part of the renovation, the brewery is looking for a hospitality professional to take over the venue as part of a five-year franchise agreement.
