Cambridgeshire Hunter, Eynesbury - planning application

Thursday 25 July 2024

Huntingdonshire District Council has received an application to build 2 detached houses in the carpark and gardens of The Cambridgeshire Hunter. This has been submitted by the Charles Wells Brewery who are the landowners. CAMRA are against this proposal. Are you? The plans can be viewed on the HDC Planning Portal, and the reference for it is 24/00989/FUL. We need people to respond to this outrageous planning application which will impact on this very popular pub and community asset, and impact on the already stretched parking in the surrounding streets. At a time when pubs are closing all over the country, this now thriving pub’s ability to do business, by reducing its car park and garden by a significant amount, will harm its business. Access for the proposed houses is through the carpark. We need you to put your views to HDC. Don’t leave it until the barriers go up. Please put your views in NOW! Once the car park and garden is gone, it's gone! Please access the HDC Planning Portal and enter the reference 24/00989/FUL.
